Primary Uniform

Year Reception - Year 5.

Shirt - Plain white polo shirt

Trousers/Skirt/Shorts - Plain black trousers (ankle length) or plain black skirt/ pinafore dress (no legging or tracksuit bottoms, cycling shorts or sports shorts)

Jumper - Navy blue sweatshirt with College colour Swindon Academy logo. These can be purchased from Monkhouse School Uniform Suppliers or our Pre-Loved Shop

Tights - In autumn/winter, tights should be plain grey or plain black.

In the summer months, pupils may wear a gingham summer dress in College colour.

Footwear - Must be plain black and suitable for the academy. Trainers are permitted but must be completely black, including the sole with no coloured graphics. Ugg style boots or crocs cannot be worn.

Coat - A waterproof coat should be worn in the cooler months. We go out to play in all weathers so being waterproof is vital. For Years Nursery - Year 3 we advise a puddle suit as our children will engage in wet and muddy play as part of our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) curriculum.

Wellies - Our playtimes are wet and muddy so please send your child in with wellies. Please send them in a bag and your child/children will change at the beginning and end of play times.

Year 6 Only

Our Year 6 pupils are role models for the rest of the rest of the school and we want them to feel valued. We also want to prepare them for secondary. Therefore our Year 6 pupils wear the following:

Blazer - burgundy. These can be purchased from Monkhouse School Uniform suppliers or from our own Pre-Loved Shop

Shirt - blue.

Tie - house colours. These can be purchased from Monkhouse School Uniform

Sports Kit

Navy blue round neck t-shirt
Dark colour shorts (or tracksuit bottoms)
Trainers or daps

Accessories

Students may also wear:

A watch (not a smart watch)
One pair of small plain studs may be worn in pierced ears. There must not be any other form of body piercing.
All items of jewellery must be removed for PE lessons.
No rings or necklaces should be worn.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL UNIFORM IS LABELLED CLEARLY WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME SO IF LOST WE CAN RETURN IT.
