Head's Welcome

I would like to warmly welcome you to Alton Close Primary and Tree House Nursery.

I am Emma Howarth-Barnes and I have the absolute pleasure of being the Head teacher at this fantastic school. We are extremely proud of everything our school has to offer, our wonderful pupils and staff. This website will provide you with an insight into what goes on in our school and the information you need to get the most out of it.

The Alton Way explains our mission and vision, giving you a full insight into our ethos and approach to providing the highest quality of education for our pupils. We are committed to serving our community of pupils aged 2 to 11 years. We guarantee that your child will leave us as a confident individual, successful learner and a responsible citizen, alongside gaining a strong sense of achievement, satisfaction and with a lifelong love for learning.

At Alton Close we pride ourselves on being a strong school family. The idea of playing our part in the community is embedded in our culture; our school "family" reaches further the school gates; we are part of something bigger and we do not stand alone. We are developing our Parent Association and invite all parts of the community to get involved. We hope that all families and their children can look back at their time at Alton Close as a happy one, one of opportunity, achievement, fun and friendship.

We are always happy to welcome visitors to our school. If you would like to visit us, please pop in or give us a call to make an appointment - we look forward to meeting you and showing you around our lovely school.
