It addresses the issues created by colonialism within the country and how industrial development is improving the lives of its populations. We finish by address the impacts of pollution by global companies such as Shell and Unilever.

Urban change in the UK: Bristol

Within this module we look at development and change much closer to home. We finish by addressing the regeneration of Bristol and the impact this has had on rates of employment and tourism within the city.

Ecosystems

We learn how plants and animals have adapted to life in the harshest environments and how humans continue to threaten the existence of these ecosystems.

The Development Gap

This module looks at development of different countries around the world and what has factors hinder development. It addresses the different ways we measure development and how the demographic of a country changes as it develops. Finally, we look at tourism in Jamaica and how this can be used the bridge the gap in development.

Coastal landscapes

This module looks at coastal landscapes in great detail, including the way that geomorphic processes such as erosion and deposition continue to shape coastlines.
