There is something very special about Swindon Academy.
Our atmosphere is one of hard work and excellence. It is a school where pupils strive to be their best. Lessons are challenging; staff support pupils and pupils are inspired by staff. Mutual respect is high and there is fun and laughter during the day.
This is a busy environment with an enormous variety of extracurricular activities on offer. Our pastoral care is exceptional and there is a dedicated team of staff who support pupils daily. Our four Colleges provide an extra layer of belonging and there is always a College competition to throw yourself into, from Inter-College University Challenge to Inter-College Dance Offs.

If your child is joining Swindon Academy in September 2021, we recommend you click through the links in this section. We are planning to hold Open Evenings later in June on the following dates:
Monday 21 June, 6pm: Grammar Stream entrants
Tuesday 22 June, 6pm: Beech Avenue or Alton Close Primary School pupils
Wednesday 23 June, 6pm: Current Year 6 primary school students from other schools
These evenings will give you a sense of the culture, learning ethos and excitement that your son/daughter will enjoy at Swindon Academy, and also provide some practical information, such as uniform details.
On 30th June we will be running a Transition Day for all students, where they will experience a "typical" day in the Secondary Phase. More information will follow for all students and parents regarding these events.
