Careers Club

Careers Club can help you with big subjects such as picking your options, thinking about what you want to do when you’re older and matching your skillset to jobs roles. In addition to this, Careers Club can also help with day to day job related activities such as writing a CV, completing a job application or finding a volunteering placement.

If you would like tailored advice specific to you, Careers Club runs every Friday during PSHE. You can book an appointment by seeing Miss Cook in the Sixth Form office or emailing Jessica.cook@swindon-academy.org. If you do not have access to your email account, you can ask your tutor to help you book an appointment. If you are unable to attend your Careers Club appointment, please let Miss Cook know with as much notice as possible as she may be able to arrange another student in your timeslot.

Miss Cook has a range of worksheets, information booklets and interactive activities to help you discover new careers and decide which ones may be of interest to you, if you don’t feel you need an appointment but would like access to this information, please contact Miss Cook.
