How to Apply

At Swindon Academy, we treat all student as individuals and ensure that all advice and guidance given is in line with students' qualifications, interests, career aspirations and skills.

On this basis, we do not enforce an entry criteria; a place offer is dependent on meeting applicants, discussing their unique requirements and determining if our Sixth Form is the right place for them and the subjects they wish to pursue.  As a guide, 5 GCSE grades between 9 - 4 allows students to access the courses we have on offer.  However, entry onto some courses requires students to hold a specific GCSE.

Whether you have already decided that United College Sixth Form is the place for you, or if you are curious about what we can offer, we would be delighted to hear from you.  Please view our Prospectus for more information on our Sixth Form.

Apply Here

Here you will find an online Application Form or you have the option to download and print off the Application Form and send it back to us.   Please see our Sixth Form Courses page for more information.

Students will receive a letter offering them a provisional place, which is confirmed following GCSE results day in August.  The letter will detail the subjects you will be studying in the Sixth Form or an invitation to speak with us about your subject choices based on your GCSE results.  We look forward to hearing from you.

We welcome applications from students across Swindon to join United College Sixth Form.
