Another said:
"Receiving these results is a fantastic feeling. I've worked hard throughout my studies and I'm thankful to my family and teachers for supporting me every step of the way."
One parent of a student collecting their results said:
"This is a proud moment for our family. The guidance and care provided by teachers have helped my child develop both academically and personally."
Another parent said:
"The support provided by the school has played an important role in helping my child reach this milestone. We couldn't be happier with what has been achieved."
Commenting on the results, Karen Wright, Principal at Swindon Academy, said:
“As a school community, we are very proud of what our students have achieved and it is great to see so many secure the grades they need to confirm their university places. We have had some exceptional individual results which will inspire our younger students to work hard and set themselves ambitious goals for the future.
“It has been heartening speaking to parents this morning and hearing how proud they are of their children and how much they appreciate the opportunities their child has been given at Swindon Academy. Education is definitely a partnership between school and home and we are lucky to enjoy the support of such a fantastic group of families who share the high aspirations we have for every student.”
