See what our staff say....

'I began working at the Academy four years ago as a teaching assistant. Since my employment began, I have been thoroughly supported and encouraged to progress: by June I will be a qualified teacher. I work with a fantastic, hardworking team who are committed to making a positive difference. Most importantly, everyday brings challenges and numerous rewards!'

'I have thoroughly excelled in my teaching since joining Swindon Academy. I came into the academy as an NQT and working hard over the last 2 years I have been promoted into middle management, so excellent career progression is provided. The staff and students are friendly and engaging and every day is different. I would totally recommend working at the academy to any teacher who wishes to continue their own professional development.   In addition it is great to be working  alongside an extremely experienced and welcoming team of staff ’.

‘Since starting at Swindon Academy as a member of the support staff I immediately felt welcomed by all staff and surprised at how quickly I settled in. All staff are very approachable and friendly, creating a positive atmosphere around school. I hope to end the school year on the same positive note I started on!’

“From the moment I arrived at Swindon Academy I have been made to feel so welcome by the staff and students. The atmosphere here is really something special, and it is so rewarding to work somewhere that hard work is appreciated. The students are so keen to learn and are enthusiastic about their learning journey here, that although it is a challenge to come up with new ways to inspire and engage them, it is always worth the effort to see them so switched on to the learning process. I have also been lucky enough to be involved in extra-curricular activities, like the school show. The time and effort put in by everyone involved with the show was truly immense, and it was inspiring to see such motivation from a dedicated team of staff and students. I hope to continue to enjoy working here for some time to come!”
