Feeling part of a community and having a sense of togetherness is an essential part of the sixth form life. Although our aim is for students to work hard and gain qualifications, being in the sixth form is also about students enjoying life, being happy in their learning and having a positive social life, inside and outside school. Students who join United College Sixth Form, either from within or outside of the Academy, form strong bonds and friendships, and enjoy a comprehensive tutor programme that encourages peer mentoring and support.
Our sixth form students enjoy meeting new people from other schools and welcome them into their groups. As a small sixth form, we have a strong family feeling environment, where everyone supports each other. We are very proud of this positive culture and the good working relationships that come from it.
