We have fully equipped kitchens on both academy sites, offering a wide range of food for our students.  We encourage our students to eat healthily and therefore follow the guidance produced by the government to ensure we meet the highest standards with the widest choices.

In Breakfast Club we offer a range of items including cereal, toast and hot cooked food.

Break Time

Hot and cold snacks and drinks

Fully comprehensive rotational menu is available, offering a wide choice of hot main courses, pasta, jacket potatoes, salad bar, as well as baguettes, wraps and sandwiches.

On academy International days, we also ensure that the menu includes speciality dishes from the featured country. We are proud of the high quality of service offered and are more than happy for parents to view and join us to experience the food service.

Cashless Catering System

Loading money onto your child’s account is quick and easy. You can either do this via the internet or by using local pay points.  You no longer have to worry about lost money or your child popping into the local shops and spending money on unhealthy food.  However, we also have cash loaders in school for pupils and parents to put money onto their accounts.

If your child is eligible for free school meals this is completely confidential as this is processed by our cashless catering system.  When students pass through the tills, there is no differentiation between students on free school meals or those paying.  Although we encourage students to have a full meal we will allow them to use their allowance on drinks and snack items, so please ensure your child has access to free school meals if you are eligible.  Our staff are always on hand to help the application process, which can now be completed in a few minutes on the internet or in school.  Please contact our staff at main reception who will be happy to assist.  If parents would like to periodically check what their child has purchased we are able to provide a print out for you.
