Swindon Academy is free to attend, with places open to students of all abilities.  We consider all student applications on an individual basis and always try to offer a place at the academy if we possibly can.

Swindon Academy is allocated students by Swindon Borough Council.  If you wish to apply for a place at Swindon Academy please go on to the Swindon Borough Council website and fill in an In-year Admissions Form. Please note that if you apply for a place at Swindon Academy from Reception through to Year 6, there are 2 sites that these year groups are taught at,  Beech avenue and Alton Close.  When applying please state your preferred site, however we cannot guarantee which site you will be allocated as this will be subject to availability. If you wish to see our Admissions policy please download the policy document below.

At Swindon Academy all of our year 6 students automatically receive a place in year 7 so there is no need to complete any forms for your child to continue their education with us.  This is because we are an all-through academy.
