Changes to Benefit Rules

From 2nd November 2009 Child Benefit will no longer be counted as part of your income for Housing and Council Tax Benefit.

If you do not receive Housing and Council Tax Benefit you may now be able to claim.  To find out how much you may receive please go to the Benefits Calculator at:

If you already claim Housing and Council Tax Benefit then we will recalculate it for you.  However, we will still need to see proof that you are receiving Child Benefit.
