How do I apply for a place at Swindon Academy for my child?

If you wish to apply for a place at Swindon Academy for your child you can either download the admissions form in the Admissions section (under parents) of this website or you can telephone the school and ask for a form to be posted to you. The form then gets posted to Swindon Borough Council who allocate places.

Can I apply for place at Swindon Academy if I do not live in the catchment area?

Yes!  We consider all applications on an individual basis.

If my child is sick who do I need to call?

If your child is sick on a school day please telephone 01793 426900 and leave a message stating your child's name, class or tutor group, date of absence and reason for absence.

If I have concerns about my child and school who do I speak to first?

In the first instance you will need to talk with your child's class teacher or tutor.  If you have already done this and need to take it further then you should ask to speak to the relevant Head of Learning. (Details of Heads of Learning can be found in the 'Staff' section of this website)
