Parent Coffee Mornings and Workshops

Coffee Meeting Groups

Parents coffee meetings are held weekly for parents to come together to get to know each other, ask questions about their child's education and develop a good relationship with Swindon Academy.  Coffee morning are held as follows:

  • Tuesday mornings - at 9.00am at our Beech Avenue Site starting from 15th September 2009
  • Friday afternoon - at 1.30pm at our Alton Close Site starting from 4th September 2009
  • Dad's coffee mornings also begin on Friday 25th September and run every Friday at the Beech Avenue site from 9.00am - 10.00am

Workshops

At Swindon Academy we try and run a varied programme of Parent Workshops. 

This term workshops will be held as follows:

  • Adult Literacy Group- 9.30 - 11.30am on Mondays at the Beech Avenue site
  • Family Learning Workshop- Wednesdays 12.45 - 2.45 at the Alton Close site and Wednesdays 1.30 - 3.00 at the Beech Avenue site
  • Adult Learning Workshop - begin on Thursday 17th September from 9.00 - 11.00am and runs every Thursday until the last date on Thursday 3rd December 2009.
