Swindon Academy and the Community

Swindon Academy is committed to working with our community to provide learning, social and networking opportunities. 

As part of this dedication Swindon Academy runs regular workshops for parents based on themes requested such as:

• ICT Workshop
• Helping your Child with Homework
• Literacy
• English as a Second Language Workshops
• Sharing Skills and much more. 

More social activities that have been well attended also include Yoga sessions and Bollywood dancing. We ask our parents what would help them to be able to do more things with their children and respond to their requests. 

Our parents have welcomed coffee mornings where they can socialise and ask any questions, this have proved to be very helpful to many parents in making contact with school personnel and also meeting new friends in the community.
