In February 2015, Swindon Academy underwent an Ofsted inspection. In their report, the inspectors concluded that both the Leadership and Management of the academy and the Behaviour and Safety of its pupils are now ‘good’. The inspectors identified a small number of challenges that we still face but it was also very gratifying that they saw the real progress that is underway at the academy.
The strong support that the school receives from parents and governors is credited as being very important in how we are moving forward as a school. Likewise, the support we are receiving from United Learning is acknowledged as being very effective.
The comments made by inspectors are a true reflection of the work ethos of hard work that is taking place at Swindon Academy. You are welcome to visit us to see this in action for yourself.
