Welcome from the Assistant Principal (Early Years)

Welcome to Swindon Academy Tree House Nursery.  We hope that you will make the decision for your child to join us in our welcoming, supportive, stimulating, secure and happy environments. If you do accept a place with us, we will work very closely in partnership with you as a parent to ensure the best for your child.

Each child within our setting is given equal opportunities to develop and learn through purposeful, structured and spontaneous play opportunities both indoors and outdoors. During their time with us, we are committed to making sure your child is treated as an individual and is encouraged to reach their full potential.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum at Swindon Academy, which aims to develop the whole child and provide the foundations for a happy, confident, well-adjusted and independent individual.

The curriculum is broadly based with complete integration of the seven areas of learning.

These areas are:

The Prime Areas

  • Communication and Language
  • Physical
  • Personal, Social and Emotional

The Specific Areas

  • Literacy
  • Maths
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

We look forward to working with you from the very first step of completing the application forms.
